Adam’s Peak Wild Harvest

Exotic & Pristine

$4.40$110.00

This extremely rare tea grows wildly on the slopes of Adam’s Peak in Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. What was once a Scottish plantation abandoned over 130 years ago, is now a thriving native forest with up to 30-foot tea trees growing in natural biodiversity. Dense growth has slowly made these untouched tea trees grow tall and sparse as their leaves chase the sun through the forest’s canopy. Local artisans skillfully climb the trees to selectively hand pick the leaves, taking care to not over harvest. The tea is then hand rolled and processed to create an incredibly unique wild tea.

We refer to it as the Champagne of Sri Lankan tea, the resulting brew is intricate and delicate, with notes of vanilla, maple, jasmine and orange. Adam’s Peak Wild Harvests’ silky-smooth body is notable and the finish is incredibly clean.
