Ancient Artisan Bi Luo Chun produces a delicate liquor with floral aromas and flavours of sugar snap peas and toasted pine nuts. Round, smooth and balanced with a subtle and pleasing acidity. Every spring, tea master Kai Wei selectively picks only supple shoots from wild and ancient (~200-year-old) trees bordering his village on Wuliang Mountain in Yunnan, China. These small batches are then sun-dried and hand-rolled in his studio using generations of experience to create this limited release artisanal tea. Bi Luo Chun literally translates to “Green Spring Snail”. It’s name pays homage to its appearance, which is jade green in colour, from spring harvest, and rolled into tight spirals.
